Andaman and Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee on Friday held protest at Little Andaman to oppose the conviction of Rahul Gandhi by a Surat Court in a defamation case.
The protest at Little Andaman was led by Mr. Rangalal Halder, ANTCC President and Mr. TSG Bhasker, Campaign Committee Chairman, ANTCC. Congress leaders alleged that BJP was selectively targeting Mr. Rahul Gandhi to divert attention from the Adani Scam.
The congress leaders raised slogans against BJP during the protest and pledged support for Rahul Gandhi.
Chairman, Adivasi Congress Mr. Sebastian Tirkey, BCC President, R.K Pur, Mr. Gopal Saha, TCC Member, Mrs. Deepa Baul, Pradhan, R.K Pur, Mrs. Sangeeta Biswas, Congress leaders Mr. Atul Kumar Biswas, Mr. Alok Biswas, Mr. Swapan Saha and Mr. Glok Biswas among others participated in the protest.
