The Andaman & Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee (ANTCC) recently organised its ‘Vote Chor Gaddi Chod’ campaign at Ward No. 22, Brookshabad, under the leadership of Mr. Rangalal Halder, President, ANTCC, and Mr. TSG Bhasker, Chairman, Campaign Committee, ANTCC.
The campaign was organised with the support of Mr. Jayapaal, Congress leader of Ward No. 22. As part of the programme, party leaders and workers visited households in the area, interacted with residents, and highlighted issues related to alleged electoral malpractice (“vote chori”) and the frequent power outages disrupting daily life. As part of the campaign, “Stop Vote Chori” stickers were distributed and displayed at households across the ward.
The campaign saw participation of several Congress leaders and representatives including Mr. AUT Ummer, Zilla Parishad Member; Mr. Mohd Zubair, President City Congress; Ms Diksha Dular, President Youth Congress; Mr. M.A. Sajid, Vice-President Youth Congress; Mr. O. Basheer, Ex-Pradhan Mannarghat; Mr. Xavier, Congress Leader; Ms. K. Asnath, PRI Member; Ms. Rasheeda Banu, PRI Member; Mr. Raghubalan, Congress Leader; Mr. Akshay, Joint Secretary Seva Dal, among others.
