In a plea to the Secretary of Health of Andaman Nicobar Administration, the President of the Andaman Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee (ANTCC), Mr. Rangalal Halder, has urgently called for action to tackle the critical shortage of dialysis machines at the Community Health Centre (CHC) in Bambooflat.
In a formal letter addressed to the Health Secretary, Mr. Halder highlighted the current plight of the Bambooflat CHC, which is operating with limited dialysis machines. This inadequacy is failing to meet the escalating demand for dialysis services in the region, leaving numerous patients in distress. Prolonged waiting times have become the norm, exacerbating the health conditions of those in need and significantly diminishing their quality of life.
Expressing grave concern, Mr. Halder implored the Health Secretary to swiftly provide an additional dialysis machine to the Bambooflat CHC. The expansion of dialysis facilities, he emphasized, is crucial to ensuring timely and uninterrupted access to life-saving treatments for patients suffering from renal ailments.
Mr. Halder emphasized, “The provision of additional dialysis machines is paramount to addressing the pressing needs of the patients and enhancing the quality of healthcare services in Bambooflat.”
Furthermore, he urged the Health Secretary to prioritise this matter and take swift action to procure and install additional dialysis machines at the Bambooflat CHC. The urgency of the situation demands immediate attention to alleviate the suffering of patients and improve the healthcare infrastructure in the region.
