Andaman Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee (ANTCC) staged a protest on June 21, 2024, decrying irregularities and malpractices in the NEET-UG Examination 2024 results. The demonstration aimed to address the severe compromise in the integrity of the examination process and demand justice for the affected students.

Led by ANTCC President Mr. Rangalal Halder, the protest took place in front of the Congress Office in Port Blair. Party leaders vocally opposed the alleged irregularities and paper leaks that have marred the examination.

Senior Congress leaders, including the Chairman of the Campaign Committee, the ANTCC Spokesperson, Block President, Congress Seva Dal, Mahila Coordinators and Leaders, Zilla Parishad Adhyaksha, PRI members, PBMC Councillors, and party workers, participated in the protest.

During the gathering, Mr. Halder stated, “We stand in solidarity with the students whose futures are jeopardised by these irregularities. Immediate action is necessary to restore faith in the examination system.”

The ANTCC emphasised the need for a transparent investigation into the NEET-UG 2024 examination process, reflecting widespread concern over the integrity of educational assessments.
