Andaman and Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee will be organising Bharat Jodo Yatra in Andaman and Nicobar Islands from Diglipur to Baratang. The Yatra will start from Diglipur on 6th January 2023 and will conclude at Baratang on 12th January 2023.
Leaders and workers of Congress from all across the Andaman and Nicobar Islands will join the Bharat Jodo Yatra from 6th January 2023.
During the Yatra, several public meetings will also be organised at different places by ANTCC.
The distance between Diglipur and Baratang is approximately 200 Km and appropriate arrangements are being made for the successful conduct of the Bharat Jodo Yatra.
Bharat Jodo Yatra at National Level is being led by Mr. Rahul Gandhi. The Yatra started from Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu on 7th September 2022. It is a 3570 Kilometre long, 150 Day non-stop march that will cover 12 states and two Union Territories.
The Congress said that they have started the movement to unite the country against the alleged “divisive politics” of the Bharatiya Janata Party-led central government.
