Anti-piracy Drill Conducted Onboard M.V Kalighat Off Campbell Bay Coast

Passengers onboard M.V Kalighat were surprised when their vessel was boarded by some armed commandos who were reportedly performing an anti-piracy drill.

According to the passengers onboard M.V Kalighat which sailed from Campbell Bay on 12th of October 2021, when their ship had just crossed the Campbell Bay Breakwater they saw a boat with MARCOS approaching their ship and to their surprise the commandos climbed aboard on moving ship and performed anti-piracy drill.

The videos of MARCOS climbing onboard M.V Kalighat and then performing the drill is doing rounds on social media.

Mr. Kritik Fareed a trained mariner who was onboard the ship informed, that it was the first time he experienced such a drill by commandos on board a passenger ship. 

The video shows the commandos climbing the ship and then moving around in a very tactical and professional manner.
