The Andaman Nicobar Tour Operators Association (ANTOA) recently organised its maiden B2B Road Show in Madurai, in collaboration with the South Tamil Nadu Association for Travel & Tourism (STATT). The event was held at Hotel Ramrathna Residency and brought together around 50 leading tour operators from Madurai and neighbouring districts.
The initiative aimed at strengthening tourism ties between the Andaman & Nicobar Islands and South Tamil Nadu, while creating new business avenues for travel stakeholders. The Road Show provided a dynamic platform for industry networking, exchange of tourism insights, and promotion of the unique travel offerings of the Islands.
ANTOA officials expressed satisfaction over the enthusiastic participation and positive response from the travel fraternity. They noted that such outreach programmes would significantly contribute to boosting tourist inflow to the Islands, especially from Southern India, which continues to be an important market for Andaman tourism.
ANTOA extended its gratitude to STATT and the participating tour operators for their support in making the event a success, marking a promising step towards enhanced tourism collaboration.
