The Andaman Nicobar Tour Operators Association (ANTOA) participated in the prestigious South Asia Travel & Tourism Exchange (SATTE) 2026, held from February 25 to 27 at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi, marking a significant step in promoting the Andaman and Nicobar Islands on a global tourism platform.

SATTE, regarded as one of Asia’s leading international travel trade exhibitions, serves as a major B2B networking and marketing platform for tourism stakeholders from across the world. ANTOA members participated under the Andaman Pavilion, which was put together by the Department of Tourism, Andaman and Nicobar Administration.

Andaman and Nicobar Administration provided free stall space to island tour operators and stakeholders at the event. The initiative was widely welcomed by members of the tourism industry, who described it as a major boost for destination marketing and Brand Andaman promotion at the international level.

The Andaman Pavilion highlighted the pristine islands of Andaman and Nicobar, their exotic beaches, rich natural beauty, adventure and water sports activities, as well as eco-tourism and sustainable travel opportunities. The pavilion attracted considerable attention from domestic and international buyers, travel agents, and tour planners.

According to ANTOA, participation in SATTE 2026 resulted in strong B2B networking opportunities, numerous business inquiries, and confirmed leads for the upcoming tourism season. Island tour operators expressed satisfaction with the response received during the three-day event.

ANTOA President Simson conveyed appreciation to the Director of Tourism and the Andaman and Nicobar Administration for facilitating participation in the major international exhibition and for their continued efforts in strengthening destination promotion of the islands.

The association also expressed hope for continued collaboration with the Administration to position the Andaman and Nicobar Islands as a world-class tourism destination.
