The Department of Art & Culture, Andaman and Nicobar Administration, has invited applications from registered cultural organizations across the Islands for financial assistance under the Grant-in-Aid (GIA) scheme for the financial year 2025–26.
The financial assistance of ₹25,000 will be provided to each eligible organization as per the “Andaman and Nicobar Islands Rules for Grant-in-Aid to Local Cultural Organizations,” notified on 3rd September 2018.
To be eligible, organizations must have a registered office in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands and should be actively engaged in promoting art and culture, national integration, and communal harmony. Additionally, the organization must have been operational in these fields for at least one year.
Interested organizations can download the prescribed application format from the official website www.andaman.gov.in or collect it directly from the Directorate of Art & Culture.
Completed applications, along with all necessary documents, must be submitted to the Director, Department of Art & Culture, at the Cellular Jail Complex. The last date for submission is 20th August 2025. (Story Based on PR)
