Applications Invited for Key Posts at Khelo India State Centre of Excellence in Sri Vijaya Puram

The Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, Andaman & Nicobar Administration, has invited applications for a range of professional and support positions at the Khelo India State Centre of Excellence (KISCE), located at the Netaji Sports Complex in Sri Vijaya Puram. The appointments will be made on a purely contractual basis under the Khelo India Scheme for a period of up to four years, subject to the continuation of the scheme by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India.

According to the notification, one post of High Performance Manager has been advertised with a consolidated monthly remuneration of ₹1,00,000 to ₹1,50,000. Applications have also been invited for one post each of Head Coach in Badminton, Cycling and Swimming, all carrying a monthly salary in the range of ₹1,00,000 to ₹1,50,000.

The Directorate has further notified one post of Physiotherapist Grade-I with a monthly remuneration of ₹40,000 to ₹60,000, and two posts of Masseur, each offering a consolidated salary of ₹35,000 to ₹55,000 per month. One post of Nutritionist has been advertised with a remuneration ranging from ₹75,000 to ₹1,00,000 per month, while the Strength and Conditioning Expert will receive a consolidated salary of ₹70,000 per month. In addition, one post of Young Professional has been notified with a monthly remuneration of ₹40,000 to ₹60,000.

Eligible and interested candidates may submit their applications in the prescribed format either by post or in person at the office of the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, Netaji Stadium, Sri Vijaya Puram. Detailed information regarding the purpose of each role, responsibilities, eligibility criteria as per the Khelo India Manpower Hiring Norms for KISCE, and the application format is available on the department’s official website at sports.andamannicobar.gov.in and the Andaman & Nicobar State Portal andamannicobar.gov.in.

Applications, duly signed and supported with self-attested copies of educational qualifications, sports achievements, experience certificates and other relevant testimonials, should be addressed to the Secretary (Sports)/Director (Sports), Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, Andaman & Nicobar Administration, Netaji Sports Complex, Sri Vijaya Puram–744101.

The application process will open on January 27, 2026, and close on February 16, 2026, at 5.00 pm. Applications received after the stipulated deadline will not be considered. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for a skill test wherever applicable, as decided by the Selection Committee or the Director (Sports), an official release said.
