The Forest Department has invited applications from bona fide residents of Shaheed Dweep for permits to collect sea sand. The application window, which opened on September 6, will remain open until September 15, 2025.
Applicants are required to submit valid land records (Form-F) certified by the competent Revenue Authority, along with a copy of their identity card for verification. Applications must be submitted to the Camp Officer at Shaheed Dweep Forest Camp between 6 am and 2 pm.
The deadline for submission of applications with complete documents is September 15, 2025, by 2 pm. (Story Based on PR)
