The Department of Art & Culture, A&N Administration, has invited applications from interested artists for the nomination of one eminent personality in the field of folk or tribal art from the Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
The selected nominee will be recommended as a Member of the Program Committee of the Eastern Zonal Cultural Centre (EZCC), Kolkata, functioning under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India.
According to official information, the nomination of artists will be made in accordance with Clause 10.2(iv) of the Memorandum of Association (MoA) of the EZCC.
Interested artists are required to submit their curriculum vitae along with details of their achievements on or before February 24, 2026, to the Director (Art & Culture), A&N Administration, Cellular Jail Complex. Applications may also be sent via email to artand.culture@and.nic.in.
Artists engaged in folk or tribal art forms across the Islands have been encouraged to apply within the stipulated deadline.
