The Department of Art & Culture, Andaman & Nicobar Administration, has invited applications from registered cultural organizations of the Islands for financial assistance under the Grant-in-Aid (GIA) scheme for the financial year 2025–26.
As per the Andaman and Nicobar Islands Rules for Grant-in-Aid to Local Cultural Organizations, notified on 3rd September 2018, each eligible organisations will receive Rs. 25,000/- as financial assistance.
To qualify, organisations must have a registered office in the A&N Islands, be actively engaged in the promotion of art, culture, national integration, and communal harmony, and should have been operational in these fields for at least one year.
Application forms are available on the official website www.andamannicobar.gov.in and can also be obtained from the Directorate of Art & Culture. Duly filled applications, along with supporting documents, must be submitted to the Director, Department of Art & Culture, Cellular Jail Complex, Port Blair.
The last date for submission is 10th September 2025.
