Authorities have issued a weather advisory for the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, cautioning that thunderstorms accompanied by gusty winds reaching speeds of 40–50 kmph and lightning are very likely to occur at one or two places on July 22, 23, 24, and 25.
Squally weather with surface wind speeds reaching 40–50 kmph, gusting up to 60 kmph, is also expected over the Andaman Sea during this period. The sea condition is likely to remain rough.
Fishermen have been strictly advised not to venture into the sea along and off the Andaman Sea till July 25, 2025, in view of the prevailing and forecasted weather conditions. The public and those involved in marine activities are urged to remain alert and follow safety instructions. (Story Based on PR)
