The Branch MSME-Development & Facilitation Office (MSME-DFO), under the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, Government of India, organized an ‘Awareness Programme on MSME Competitive (Lean) Scheme’ on 19th February 2025, at the Conference Hall, Directorate of Industries, Sri Vijaya Puram. The event was held in collaboration with the Industries Department, A&N Administration, and with the support of various industry associations.
The programme aimed to educate entrepreneurs, startups, and MSMEs about Lean tools and techniques designed to enhance productivity, efficiency, and competitiveness. Key aspects covered included reducing wastage in processes, improving inventory management, optimizing space utilization, and minimizing energy consumption.
Mr. G.K. Sinha, Assistant Director In-charge, Branch MSME-DFO, delivered a detailed presentation on various MSME schemes available to businesses. This was followed by an in-depth technical session on Lean Manufacturing Techniques and its implementation, conducted by Mr. J.K. Singh, Joint Director, National Productivity Council, Patna.
