The Directorate of Tourism, in collaboration with the Departments of Education and Sports & Youth Affairs, is set to host the much-awaited Beach Sports Festival 2025 on October 24 and 25 at the picturesque Wandoor Beach.
The two-day event aims to promote sportsmanship, fitness, and community spirit while highlighting the pristine beauty of the Islands. Against the stunning backdrop of Wandoor’s golden sands and sunsets, the festival will feature a series of energetic competitions designed to encourage teamwork and local tourism.
The festival opens today with the preliminary rounds of Volleyball and Tug of War in both men’s and women’s categories. The final matches, along with Arm Wrestling and 100-Meter Sprint events, will take place tomorrow (Oct. 25).
Cash prizes will be awarded to the winners and runners-up on October 25 at Wandoor Beach. The Directorate of Tourism has extended an open invitation to all sports enthusiasts and residents to join this vibrant celebration of unity, wellness, and the natural charm of the Islands.
