The ‘Beyond Horizon – All India Writers’ Festival’, organized by the Department of Art & Culture, Andaman and Nicobar Administration, in collaboration with Sahitya Akademi, New Delhi, is set to host a series of engaging sessions today at the TGCE Auditorium, Sri Vijaya Puram. The festival, which began on March 27, has been drawing a vibrant mix of writers, poets, and literature enthusiasts from across the country.
On the second day of the festival, three thought-provoking sessions are lined up to captivate the audience.
The first session, titled ‘What Makes Specific Stories Timeless Tales’, will take place from 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm, where prominent writers will explore the essence of storytelling and discuss what gives certain narratives a timeless appeal.
This will be followed by ‘Poetry: The Mirror of Soul: Poets’ Meet’ from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm, where noted poets will present their works, reflecting on emotions, experiences, and perspectives that resonate deeply with the soul.
The day will conclude with a lively ‘Hasya Kavi Sammelan’, organized by the Official Language Department of the A&N Administration, at the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Auditorium at 6:30 pm, promising an evening filled with humour and laughter.
With an impressive lineup of literary discussions and performances, the festival continues to celebrate the richness of Indian literature and provide a platform for creative expression and dialogue. The final day of the festival, scheduled for March 29, is expected to feature more insightful conversations and vibrant performances.
