Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) marked the birth anniversary of Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi with a noble act of compassion by organising a blood donation camp in Port Blair, under the Sewa Pakhwada initiative. Led by Mr. Ajoy Bairagi and orchestrated by the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) under the leadership of Mr. N K Udhaya Kumar, this charitable event showcased the party’s commitment to social welfare.
The camp took place at the BJP’s State Office situated at Middle Point on September 20, 2023, and witnessed an overwhelming response from party members and supporters. Bhartiya Janata Yuva Morcha has a history of conducting such altruistic initiatives, including blood donation and health camps, at regular intervals.
A multitude of party karyakartas (workers) participated enthusiastically by donating blood, and their altruism was celebrated in the presence of esteemed senior party leaders. Among those in attendance were Mr. Vishal Jolly, National Executive Member of the BJP, Mr. Sanjay Kumar Singh, State Vice President of the BJP for A & N Islands, and Adhyaksh (Chairperson) of Zilla Parishad, South Andaman, Mrs. Sheela Singh, and Mr. M Vinod, both State Vice Presidents of the BJP.
The event was also graced by Mr. K Ramdas, State General Secretary of the BJP, and Mr. K Parmasivan, State Secretary of the BJP, alongside other dedicated karyakartas of the BJP and BJYM. Their participation exemplified the party’s unity in this noble cause.
The Bharatiya Janata Party extended its heartfelt gratitude to the A & N Aids Control Society and the Blood Donation team for their impeccable coordination, ensuring the success of the camp.
