In an audio note sent to Nicobar Times, Bishnu Pada Ray, Ex-Member of Parliament promised his support to the DBRAIT students. He said he will protest and even go to jail for the students. He also added that, if required he will even pay for the filing of cases in the Hon’ble High Court.
Mr. Bishnu added that it is his duty to support the students of DBRAIT.
He also added that the students shouldn’t fear and he is with them.
Mr. Bishnu also informed that he will be coming back to the Islands on the 25th of August after which he will fight together with the students to solve the issue of DBRAIT.
B.Tech students of DBRAIT recently organised protests to press for the conduct of University examinations. The University examinations of these students are not been conducted from a long time. The students informed that there is some problem between the University and the college because of which they are suffering.
