A delegation of prominent BJP leaders from Andaman and Nicobar Islands convened at the national party headquarters in New Delhi to meet with Mr. Y. Satya Kumar, the National Secretary and Prabhari of BJP for the A & N Islands. Led by Mr. Sanjay Kumar Singh, State Vice President and core committee member of BJP, the delegation engaged in discussions about pressing concerns affecting the region.
The delegation, which included Mr. M. Vinod, State Vice-President & State Prabhari of the Media Cell, BJP, and Mr. S. Boominathan, District President of BJ Kisan Morcha, focused on several key issues plaguing the islands during their meeting at Mr. Y. Satya Kumar’s office.
Among the highlighted concerns were the urgent closure of quarries in the islands, the deplorable conditions of National Highway-4, and the persistent power crisis, notably on Swaraj Dweep Island.
In response to these issues, Mr. Y. Satya Kumar committed to promptly meeting with the relevant ministers within the next few days to prioritise and address these pressing matters. He assured the delegation of his dedication to swiftly engage in resolving these challenges affecting the Islanders.
Expressing appreciation for Mr. Y. Satya Kumar’s receptive approach and commitment to addressing their concerns, the delegation conveyed their gratitude for his valuable time and willingness to understand the intricate problems faced by the islanders.
