BJP, General Public & PRI Members Participate in Tiranga Yatra at India’s Southernmost Frontier

Bharatiya Janata Party today organised a Tiranga Yatra at Great Nicobar Island (India’s Southernmost Frontier). A large number of residents participated in the Tiranga Yatra along with BJP Leaders and PRI Members. The Tiranga Yatra was flagged off from Zero Point by Capt. VRN Setty (Retd.), Ex-Servicemen Settler of Great Nicobar.

Mr. Sanjay Kumar Singh, Zilla Parishad Member, Govind Nagar and State Vice President, BJP, Mr. E S Rajesh, Pramukh, Panchayat Samiti, Campbell Bay and District President, BJP, Nicobar District, Mr. N Kiran, District General Secretary, BJP, Nicobar District, Mr. K C Murugan, Mandal President, BJP, Campbell Bay Mandal, Mr. Sanjay Ekka, Up-Pramukh, Panchayat Samiti, Campbell Bay, Mr. G Venkat Rao, Pradhan, GP Govind Nagar, Mr. Prahlad Singh, Pradhan, GP Laxmi Nagar participated in the rally with other PRI Members.

National Flags were displayed on more than 70 bikes which travelled in areas of all three panchayats of Great Nicobar Island. The participants shouted patriotic slogans and encouraged the bystanders to participate in the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Campaign.

The participants clicked pictures with Tiranga at the beach, during the closing of the event.

The event created an aura of patriotism in Great Nicobar Island. Youth of Great Nicobar were very enthusiastic about the event. The leaders encouraged everyone to celebrate the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav with great fervour.
