On 11th of April Karyakartas of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, Andaman and Nicobar Islands under the leadership of its State President, N.K Udhaya Kumar and under overall leadership of Ajoy Bairagi, State President, Bharatiya Janata Party, Andaman and Nicobar Islands organised a mass Clean Up Drive at Dairy Farm. Almost 60 karyakartas of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha participated in the cleanup drive which lasted for more than three hours. Shri. Ajoy Bairagi also participated in the cleanup drive and appreciated the karyakartas.
The karyakartas of Bharatiya Janata Party also felicitated the Health Care Workers and Front Line Workers at Urban Health Centre, Dairy Farm. During the felicitation Ajoy Bairagi, N.K Udhaya Kumar and Eswar Rao, State Vice President, Bharatiya Janata Party, Andaman and Nicobar Islands were also present.
The whole programme was organised as a part of the celebrations of Bharatiya Janata Party Staphana Divas.
Ajoy Bairagi, State President, Bharatiya Janata Party, Andaman and Nicobar Islands also participated in the Party Flag Hoisting function at Ward No. 3 (Prothrapur) Sakthi Kendra. The Mandal President of the region was also present during the flag hoisting. Chandan, a booth worker from Ward No. 3 addressed the gathering and explained the importance of COVID-19 vaccination to the gathering of 150 karyakartas present there. Anil Tiwari, State Secretary of Bharatiya Janata Party also addressed the gathering on the occasion. Ajoy Bairagi in his addressed encouraged every eligible resident to get vaccinated against COVID-19 and asked the karyakartas to work on the ground and help everyone in getting vaccinated.
Ajoy Bairagi also visited the Vaccination Centre established at JNRM, Port Blair on the occasion of Tika Utsav and felicitated the 30 plus eligible citizens who had visited the vaccination centres with BJP Karyakartas in a bus to get themselves vaccinated. More than 80 packets of refreshments were also distributed in the vaccination centres by the BJP Karyakartas and everyone was encouraged to take vaccination without any fear and save themselves from the clutches of COVID-19. During the time the Deputy Commissioner of South Andaman, Suneel Anchipaka and SDM, Hari Kalikat were also present to talk their dose of COVID-19 vaccine. Dr. Rajiv Ghosh was also present at the venue during the time.
Ajoy Bairagi also visited Ward No. 21 and hoisted the flag of Bharatiya Janata Party at two locations in the ward. During his visit to the ward Fulmani Thomas, State Secretary of Bhartiya Janata Party, Andaman and Nicobar Islands was also present. Ajoy Bairagi also addressed the gathering in Ward No. 21 and explained to them the importance of getting vaccinated against COVID-19 and encouraged every eligible citizen to get vaccinated. The whole programme was organised to celebrate the Sthapana Divas of BJP.
