Shri. Ajoy Bairagi, State President, Bharatiya Janata Party, Andaman and Nicobar Islands has written a letter to the Secretary, Education, Andaman and Nicobar Administration, Director, Directorate of Education, Andaman and Nicobar Administration and Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman District, informing them about the non-availability of some teachers in the schools of Shaheed Dweep.
Shri. Ajoy Bairagi informed the dignitaries that recently he had visited Shaheed Dweep on an official tour and during his tour he met the villagers of all the villages. The residents of Shaheed Sweep have complained to him about the non-availability of teachers in Govt. Senior Secondary School and Govt. Middle School, Shaheed Dweep.
He further explained to the authorities that the students of Shaheed Dweep are facing a lot of issues because of the non-availability of teachers. He added that presently the schools of Shaheed Sweep have shortage of PGT (Bengali), PGT (Fine Arts) and GTT Humanities, he also mentioned that presently the teachers of Hindi Medium are teaching the students of English medium in Shaheed Dweep as English medium Teachers have not been posted there.
Shri. Ajoy Bairagi also explained that the students of the Islands have already missed a lot of time in this academic year because of the COVID-19 pandemic, so it is very essential that the teachers are posted immediately at schools of Shaheed Dweep.
He requested the authorities to post the teachers not available in Shaheed Dweep Immediately for the welfare of the students.
