Bye-election to fill the vacancies for various Gram Panchayat Member Seats under Little Andaman, Mayabunder and Diglipur Tehsil was held on 28th February 2023 (Monday). After completion of the counting of votes on 28th February 2023 (Tuesday), the Returning Officers of concerned Gram Panchayats have declared the final results.
Final Result for Gram Panchayat Member Constituency Hutbay-11 of Hutbay Gram Panchayat under Little Andaman Tehsil (Seat-General): Petrus Lakra of INC secured 77 Votes and Robert Lakra of BJP secured 43 Votes. Petrus Lakra (INC) was declared elected.
Final Result for Gram Panchayat Member Constituency Diglipur-3 of Diglipur Gram Panchayat under Diglipur Tehsil (Seat-General): Binita Minj of BJP secured 104 Votes and Jyoti Nag of INC secured 29 Votes. Binita Minj (BJP) was declared elected.
Final Result for Gram Panchayat Member Constituency Karmatang-3 of Rampur Gram Panchayat under Mayabunder Tehsil (Seat-Reserved for Women): Meena Sarita of BJP secured 145 Votes and Ashamani Tirkey of INC secured 54 Votes. Meena Sarita (BJP) was declared elected.
