As part of the month-long campaign celebrating World Environment Day, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) City District team of Sri Vijaya Puram organized a tree plantation drive on 15th June 2025, at Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram in Shadipur.
The event was led by Mr. M. Vinod, State Vice President and Programme Incharge for Sri Vijaya Puram District, along with Mr. Jitendra Narayan, District President of Sri Vijaya Puram. The plantation drive saw enthusiastic participation from Mrs. Sheela Singh, State Vice President and State Programme Incharge, elected representatives, programme coordinators for the district, party leaders, and state-level archery participants from Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram, Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
The BJP Andaman and Nicobar Islands reaffirmed its commitment to fostering a greener, cleaner, and more sustainable environment, reflecting the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi for a Swachh and Swasth Bharat.
