On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, the State Unit of BJP – A & N Islands led by Mr. Ajoy Bairagi, State President, BJP, A & N Islands through Mr. Jyotirmoy Bawali, State General Secretary, BJP – A & N Islands & Incharge – Gandhi Jayanti Programme and Co-Incharges, Mrs. Protima Banerjee, State Executive Member – BJP, Mr. E S Rajesh, District President – Nicobar District and Mrs. Alpana Mandal, District General Secretary – Diglipur District Organised a programme at State BJP Office, Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee Bhawan, Middle Point, Port Blair.
The programme started with Shradanjali by karyakartas followed by Bhagawat Geeta pat by Pandit Ravikesh Triathy, Quaran Pat by Maulana Hasibur Rahman, Bible verses by Father R Vinod Jay, Gurugranth Pat by Baba Sukhwinder Singh and Ram Dhun by Miss Sreejitha Kayal.
Mr. Jyotirmoy Bawali welcomed the gathering during the occasion. Mr Ajoy Bairagi, State President, BJP, A & N Islands also addressed the gathering on the occasion. The vote of thanks during the occasion was presented by Mrs. Sabeena Mustaq.
The Programme was hosted by Mrs. Protima Banerjee and concluded in presence of Mr. Ajoy Bairagi, State President, Mr. L Moorthy, National Council Member, Mr. Sanjay Kumar Singh, State Vice President, Mr. M Vinod, State Vice President, Mr. K Ramdas, State General Secretary apart from other office-bearers, senior leaders and karyakartas.
