The Elementary Level segment began with a formal inauguration ceremony graced by Ms. Molly Lily, Principal of GSSS Champin, who attended as the Chief Guest. She was joined by Mr. Om Prakash, Block Project Officer, Nancowrie, and Mr. Moses, PGT, GSSS Bengali, Teressa. The event opened with a march past by CwSN students, followed by a series of sporting competitions including running race, ball throw, lemon and spoon race, frog race, and hit the target. A total of 25 students participated in this segment.
The Secondary Level event commenced with a welcome song performed by a CwSN student, setting a cheerful tone for the day. It featured a yoga demonstration along with contests such as chess, ball throw, lemon and spoon race, passing the ball, and musical chair. Students also showcased their creativity through cultural performances, including speeches, dances, and songs. Fifteen students took part in the Secondary Level activities.
At the valedictory function, Ms. Molly Lily distributed prizes to the winners and congratulated all participants for their spirit and performance.
The Inclusive Sports Meet successfully promoted equal opportunities for Children with Special Needs by integrating them with their peers in sports and physical activities. The entire program was coordinated by Mr. Elamaran S., Special Educator.
