Block Level Kala Utsav Showcases Student Talent at Wimberlygunj

The Block Level Kala Utsav of Wimberlygunj Zone, held on October 15 and 16 at the GSSS Wimberlygunj Auditorium, provided a platform for students across the region to display their artistic talents. The event was marked by a vibrant showcase of creativity, featuring performances in various art forms, including dance, song, drama, instrumental and vocal music, visual art, and painting.

The inaugural session, graced by the Chief Guest, Mr. Abdul Salim, Principal of GSSS Wimberlygunj, set an inspiring tone for the festivities. In his address, Mr. Salim encouraged students to explore their creativity and embrace their artistic potential, underscoring the significance of events like the Kala Utsav in nurturing talent.

On the concluding day, October 16, Ms. Sangeeta Chand, State Nodal Officer for Kala Utsav, attended the event as the Chief Guest, offering her support to the young participants. She commended the efforts of students and teachers alike, emphasizing the importance of such cultural events in promoting artistic growth within the school community.

A series of competitions were held throughout the two-day event, with participants evaluated by a panel of judges from various schools in Sri Vijaya Puram. The judges ensured a fair and enriching experience for all participants, who were celebrated for their enthusiasm and creativity.

Ms. K Latha, Block Resource Person (BRP), praised the importance of artistic expression, noting how activities like the Kala Utsav play a crucial role in fostering creativity and innovation among students. The program was successfully conducted under the guidance of Dr. Manoharan, Block Project Officer, Wimberlygunj, ensuring smooth coordination throughout the event.

The Block Level Kala Utsav concluded on a high note, with students leaving the event motivated and inspired to continue their artistic journeys.
