A Block Level Training Program was recently organized at Rangat, uniting local leaders, health professionals, and community representatives to tackle critical health concerns and promote a healthier society. The event aimed to empower participants with knowledge and resources to address health challenges effectively within their jurisdictions.
In his inaugural address, Mr. Pradeep Kumar Singh, Block Development Officer, stressed the importance of community involvement in health initiatives. He underscored the pivotal role of Gram Panchayats in raising public health awareness and driving actionable solutions at the grassroots level.
The program featured an insightful session by Ms. Abiny Jacob, Community Health Officer at CHC Rangat, who delivered a detailed presentation on communicable and non-communicable diseases, with a special focus on oral and dental health. Participants gained valuable insights into proactive measures that local leaders and stakeholders can take to foster a healthier environment.
Pradhans and Anganwadi workers actively engaged in the program, sharing experiences and brainstorming innovative strategies to address health concerns. Anganwadi workers highlighted both the challenges and achievements encountered in promoting health awareness and disease prevention within their communities.
This initiative represents a significant stride toward strengthening community health systems, fostering collaboration, and ensuring better health outcomes for all.
