Branch MSME-Development & Facilitation Office to Organise PM Vishwakarma Awareness Programme in Car Nicobar on March 20

The Branch MSME-Development & Facilitation Office, under the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, Government of India, will organise a one-day PM Vishwakarma Awareness Programme at Perka Village in Car Nicobar on March 20.

The programme will be held at the Community Hall, Perka Village, commencing at 9:30 am, and is aimed at beneficiaries who have successfully registered or have applied for registration under the PM Vishwakarma Scheme.

The initiative seeks to create awareness among traditional artisans and craftspeople about various government schemes focused on enterprise development, financial inclusion, skill upgradation and sustainable livelihood generation. The PM Vishwakarma Scheme covers artisans engaged in 18 traditional trades, particularly those working with their hands and basic tools.

Eligible Self Help Groups (SHGs), entrepreneurs and artisans who are registered or have applied under the scheme are invited to participate in the programme. There is no participation fee for attendees.
