As part of the outreach initiative ‘Sampark Se Samadhan – Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore’, a Camp Court was organised at the Gram Panchayat Hall, Radhanagar, on January 2, 2026, under the chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner, North & Middle Andaman, Mr. Sushant Padha, IAS. The programme is aimed at taking the Administration directly to the villages to hear public grievances and ensure their prompt redressal.

The Camp Court witnessed the participation of senior officers from various departments, including Civil Administration, Police, Health, Andaman Public Works Department (APWD), Agriculture, Fisheries, Forest, Civil Supplies, and Rural Development. Elected representatives of the Panchayati Raj Institutions of Radhanagar Panchayat were also present.

During the interaction, several grievances and representations were received from the local residents. Many issues were addressed and resolved on the spot, while matters requiring inter-departmental coordination were identified for systematic follow-up. Concerned departments were directed to take time-bound action to ensure effective resolution.

The APWD assured that road repair works in the area would be completed within one month. The Civil Supplies Department committed to ensuring timely distribution of LPG cylinders. The Health Department was directed to address shortages at the Primary Health Centre (PHC), including deployment of doctors and regular supply of medicines. Revenue and BSNL officials were instructed to jointly inspect identified locations to improve mobile network connectivity.

Following the Camp Court, the Deputy Commissioner, along with accompanying officers, conducted field inspections on January 2 and 3, 2026, at PHC Radhanagar, Raja Plot, Shyamnagar, and Swarajgram villages. Issues such as water scarcity, blockage of nallahs, flooding during monsoon and high tides, encroachment of public land, and infrastructure gaps were assessed on-site. Directions were issued for construction of ring wells, clearance of nallahs, submission of technical estimates, and coordinated inter-departmental action.

The Administration reiterated its commitment to responsive, transparent, and people-centric governance, and emphasized that such outreach programmes will continue to ensure effective delivery of public services and speedy grievance redressal at the grassroots level.
