Mr. Amit Shah, Hon’ble Home Minister of India and Hon’ble Minister of Cooperation was on a three-day visit to Andaman and Nicobar Islands from 22nd to 24th of January 2023. During his visit, the Minister met with Senior Party Workers at Tagore Govt. College Auditorium on 23rd of January 2023.
After the meeting with Senior Party Workers Home Minister Mr. Amit Shah met with the Captains of the Tribal Council of Car Nicobar over High Tea.
Mr. Amit Shah gave a patient hearing to the Captains of the Tribal Council of Car Nicobar and assured them that he is committed to solving all issues being faced by the Tribal Population.
Mr. Amit Shah informed the Captains of the Tribal Council of Car Nicobar that he would visit Nicobar District soon with a team of officials from the Ministry of Cooperation to address problems related to Cooperative Societies and other major issues of the district.
Mr. Amit Shah assured the members of the Tribal Council that he is determined to work towards the welfare and development of the Islanders and will continue to make all efforts to improve the lives of the people living in these Islands with a special focus on the Tribal Community of the Islands.
