The Deputy Registrar of the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT), Kolkata Bench, has announced that a Circuit Sitting will be held at Sri Vijaya Puram in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands from December 9 to 20, 2024 (both days inclusive).
During this period, fresh applications will also be accepted. Departments handling CAT cases have been urged to contact the Government Pleader or Panel Advocates and provide relevant case documents. This will ensure that the Government Counsel is fully prepared to defend the cases on behalf of the Administration.
Additionally, Heads of Departments have been advised to instruct their Nodal Officers to be present at the Tribunal on the hearing dates, along with the necessary documents, to assist the Government Pleader or Panel Advocate during the proceedings.
