The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a circular regarding the submission of applications for the 2025 Supplementary (Compartment) and Improvement Examinations for Classes X and XII.
According to the notification, regular students placed in the compartment category or wishing to improve their performance must contact their respective schools to complete the application process. Schools are responsible for submitting the List of Candidates (LOC) online through the CBSE portal within the prescribed timelines.
Private candidates, on the other hand, are required to submit their applications personally via the CBSE portal. The application window will remain open from May 30 to June 17, 2025, without late fees, and from June 18 to June 19, 2025, with a late fee.
Private candidates can apply through the PARIKSHA SANGAM link available on the CBSE official website at cbse.gov.in or cbse.nic.in.
The schedule for the Supplementary Examinations 2025 is as follows:
– Class X: Starting from July 15, 2025 (Tuesday). The detailed date sheet will be published by CBSE in due course.
– Class XII: Examination will be held on July 15, 2025 (Tuesday) — for one day only.
CBSE has advised all eligible students to ensure timely submission of their applications to avoid late fees and ensure smooth participation in the upcoming exams.
