The Community Health Centre (CHC), Diglipur, organized an Awareness-cum-Multispecialty Outreach Health Camp at Shantinagar, Diglipur, on 13th February 2025, under the supervision of Dr. Shalini Singh, Senior Medical Officer, CHC Diglipur.
As part of the initiative, Dr. Shipra Mistry (MO, Ayurveda) conducted an awareness session on leprosy and worm infestation, while Dr. Diksha (MO, Dental) educated attendees on oral health care, including the causes, signs, and symptoms of oral cancer.
Following the awareness sessions, Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) screening was carried out for individuals above 30 years of age. The camp provided allopathic, ayurvedic, homoeopathic, and dental consultations, along with free distribution of medicines to those in need. Additionally, Mr. Shamsher Singh, Yoga Instructor, CHC Diglipur, demonstrated yoga techniques for managing various health conditions.
The camp witnessed active participation, benefiting a total of 70 individuals from the region.
