Chief Secretary Keshav Chandra Virtually Inaugurates e-Corner in Diglipur

In a significant move towards enhancing digital accessibility and service delivery, the Chief Secretary of Andaman and Nicobar Administration, Mr. Keshav Chandra, IAS, virtually inaugurated the much-anticipated e-Corner at the Administrative Block in Diglipur on 18th June 2024.

The newly established e-Corner provides residents with a one-stop platform to access a wide range of online services offered by the District Administration. This initiative is part of the Administration’s broader commitment to leveraging technology to streamline processes and make public services more accessible and user-friendly.

In his inaugural address, Chief Secretary Chandra underscored the importance of digital transformation in public administration. He emphasised the convenience and efficiency that the e-Corner will bring to the residents of Andaman and Nicobar Islands (A&NI). “This initiative is a testament to our dedication to improving service delivery through technology. The e-Corner will empower citizens by providing easy access to essential services, eliminating the need for physical visits, and saving valuable time and resources,” Chandra stated.

Residents are encouraged to visit the e-Corner and utilise the services, which are available at no cost. The District Administration assures that the platform is user-friendly and has been designed with the diverse needs of the community in mind.

The launch of the e-Corner marks a significant milestone in the ongoing efforts to promote digital governance and enhance the ease of living for the people of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The Administration remains committed to further improving and expanding the digital services available through this platform.
