A meeting chaired by the Chief Secretary, A&N Administration, was held on 06th October 2025, to review the status of loan and advance recoveries by the Andaman & Nicobar State Cooperative Bank Ltd.
During the meeting, the Vice Chairman and Managing Director of the Bank apprised that an amount of ₹27.16 crore has been recovered from Non-Performing Asset (NPA) accounts since April 2025.
The Chief Secretary advised the Bank authorities to further intensify loan recovery measures and ensure that the NPA levels are brought down within the prescribed norms.
