As part of routine Civil Defence preparedness measures, a mock drill will be conducted today (19th June 2025) at 6:00 pm to assess and strengthen emergency response capabilities across the region.
The drill is aimed at testing the operational readiness of all authorized sirens and enhancing public awareness regarding emergency alert systems. The first siren will sound from 6:00 pm to 6:05 pm, signalling the start of the exercise. A second siren will be activated at 6:10 pm for one minute to mark the conclusion of the drill.
The exercise is intended to familiarise both emergency response teams and the general public with standard procedures to be followed during actual emergencies. Authorities have urged all concerned to extend their cooperation and ensure active participation in the mock drill.
