The Department of Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs (CS&CA) in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands has officially launched the e-KYC process for all Ration Card holders. This initiative comes in accordance with the directives and mandates of the Government of India.
In a recent announcement, the Department of CS&CA has informed all Ration Card holders, including Above Poverty Line (APL), Priority Household (PHH), and Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) beneficiaries, to complete their e-KYC by November 30, 2023. To facilitate this process, individuals are required to visit their nearest Fair Price Shop with their Aadhaar numbers and Ration Cards.
Moreover, Ration Card holders can also approach Room No. 20 at the Directorate of CS&CA to complete their e-KYC.
Dealers operating the Fair Price Shops have been urged to play an active role in creating awareness among Ration Card holders and assist them in completing the e-KYC process by the November deadline.
