In a concerted effort to foster behavioural change regarding sanitation and hygiene practices, Gram Panchayat Sippighat, in collaboration with Community Development Block, Prothrapur, and Samiti Prothrapur, organized a clean-up drive at the Tri junction, Bimblitan village, Sippighat Gram Panchayat on February 10, 2024.
Led by the Block Development Officer of CD Block Prothrapur, the initiative aimed to instill a sense of responsibility among the masses to maintain cleanliness and adopt better sanitation and hygiene habits. During the drive, the Block Development Officer emphasised the importance of keeping the surroundings green and clean for a healthier community.
The event witnessed active participation from various stakeholders, including the Pramukh and Panchayat Samiti of Prothrapur, the Pradhan of Gram Panchayat Sippighat, volunteers, villagers, as well as officials from Gram Panchayat Office Sippighat, Samiti Office Prothrapur, and Community Development Block Prothrapur.
Through collaborative efforts and community engagement, the clean-up drive not only aimed to beautify the area but also aimed to promote a lasting change in mindset towards sanitation and hygiene practices. Such initiatives play a crucial role in fostering a cleaner and healthier environment for all residents.
