A two-day Coastal Security Exercise titled “Sagar Kavach – SKV 02/25” will be conducted across the Andaman and Nicobar Islands from 0600 hours on November 13 to 1800 hours on November 14, 2025.
The exercise is aimed at validating and strengthening the existing coastal security mechanism by simulating intrusion attempts by “Red Force” elements from the sea and mock attacks on land-based Vital Areas and Vital Points (VA/VPs).
Authorities have requested the general public not to panic during the period of the exercise and to extend full cooperation to security forces and participating agencies to ensure the success of this important exercise for strengthening coastal security. A press release from the SP, PMF, said.
