Andaman & Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee organised a one-day state-level ‘SHIVIR’ on 1st June 2022 at Maharashtra Mandal, Port Blair to discuss the decisions of the “Udaipur Declaration” adopted during the three-day ‘Chintan Shivir’ at Udaipur, Rajasthan.
All the issues taken up in the Nav Sankalp Shivir Camp at Udaipur were conveyed to the Congress grassroots level workers of the Union Territory during the event. Emphasis was laid on strengthening the party organisation and reviving Congress party in the UT.
Mr. Rangalal Halder, President, ANTCC gave out the details of Udaipur Camp in the presence of Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Member of Parliament, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Mr. TSG Bhasker, Chairman Campaign Committee, ANTCC, DCC Presidents and other senior Congress leaders. Mr. Rangalal Halder advised the leaders to discuss and express their opinions on Organisational Issues, Political Issues, Economic Issues, Farmers & Farm Labours issues, Social Justice & Empowerment Issues and Youth Related Issues during the gathering.
Mr. Rangalal Halder further advised the Congress workers to convey the failures of the BJP on the issues of rising inflation, unemployment, farmers etc. to the masses.
The gathering at the shivir was addressed by the Member of Parliament, Chairman (Campaign Committee), All AICC Members, Senior Leaders of Congress, DCC Presidents, all heads of Frontal Organisations, Councillors of PBMC and PRI Members.
