The Congress Party has expressed profound grief over the passing of Sahadev Dey, the dedicated founder and reporter of News Republic Andaman, who breathed his last in Diglipur.

Dey, known for his unwavering commitment to truthful journalism, was a respected figure in the local media landscape. Through years of dedicated reporting, he earned the trust of the community, particularly in the Diglipur region, becoming a voice for the people and a pillar of integrity in regional journalism.

  1. May the Departed Soul Rest in Peace. He was a honest reporter and a dedicated journalist. Who ever involved in his killing must be brought to Justice. No one has the right to take the life of a individual when he or she can’t give life to a individual. Shameful incident for our islands.
