The Assistant Commissioner of Diglipur recently spoke to Shri. Ajoy Bairagi, State President, Bharatiya Janata Party, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and informed him that the Containment Zone in Diglipur is being relaxed and the barricades are being removed allowing movement of people to give relief to the residents of Diglipur.
Shri. Ajoy Bairagi had earlier written a letter to the Mananiya Kishen Reddy Ji, Hon’ble Minister of State for Home Affairs, Govt. of India explaining him the problems of the people of North and Middle Andaman because of large areas being declared as Containment Zones in North and Middle Andaman and had requested him to intervene and take action.
Shri. Ajoy Bairagi has thanked the Assistant Commissioner of Diglipur for giving relaxation to the people of Diglipur. He also requested the general public of Diglipur to follow all COVID-19 protocols and only go out of their homes when it is absolutely necessary.
Shri. Ajoy Bairagi further requests the residents of Diglipur to follow the two golden rules as suggested by our Hon’ble Prime Minister Mananiya Narendra Modi Ji i.e. wearing of face cover at all times when in public, maintaining atleast 6 feet of social distancing ‘2 gaj ki doori’.
He further added that It is absolutely necessary that we follow all norms as suggested by the Govt. from time to time to win over this pandemic and to ensure a healthier society and world.
