Major General Ajay Feroze Shah, Chief of Staff (COS), Andaman and Nicobar Command, paid a visit to the 1 Andaman & Nicobar (Independent) Infantry Company NCC during his recent tour of the Islands.
During the visit, the Commanding Officer, Col. K.Y. Singh, briefed the COS on various aspects related to training activities and administrative matters of the unit. The briefing highlighted ongoing initiatives, operational preparedness, and efforts being undertaken to strengthen the NCC framework in the region.
Maj Gen Shah also interacted with the Permanent Instructor (PI) staff and office personnel, appreciating their dedication and contribution towards shaping disciplined and responsible youth through NCC activities.
The visit is being regarded as a significant and motivating occasion for the NCC organisation in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, boosting the morale of officers and staff alike.
