The counting of votes for the recently concluded bye-elections to various Gram Panchayat Member (GPM), Zilla Parishad Member (ZPM) and Municipal Ward constituencies in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands will be held on February 10, 2026.
As per official notification, the counting process will commence from 8.00 am onwards at the respective designated counting centres. The counting will cover the Gram Panchayat Member constituencies of Madhupur-6 (Diglipur Tehsil), Bakultala-3 (Rangat Tehsil), Mannarghat-4 and Bambooflat-1 (Ferrargunj Tehsil), the Zilla Parishad Member constituency of Mayabunder in North and Middle Andaman district, and the Ward Councillor seat of Ward No. 17 under Sri Vijaya Puram Municipal Council.
All polled materials have been safely stored in strong rooms under strict security arrangements and will be brought to the counting centres following established protocols.
Adequate arrangements have been made to ensure smooth, transparent and orderly counting of votes. Results are expected to be declared soon after the completion of counting.
