As a part of ‘World Disability Day Celebrations – 2022’, CRC- A&N Islands organised Recreational and Sports activities for Children with Special Needs at CRC, Brookshabad. The main objective of the event was to empower CwSN by creating an inclusive society.
Around 48 Divyangjans and their parents participated in the activities. The Divayanjans were grouped according to their ability level and they participated in outdoor and indoor sports activities.
Ms. Sumithamol, Resident Nodal Officer inaugurated the event. The children with special needs competed in 100 Mtr Race, Shot Put, Relay Race, Ball Throwing, Musical Chair, Balloon Race, Biscuit Biting etc.
During the event, the parents of CwSN, special educators, professionals & other staff of CRC, A&N-Islands assisted and gave full support to the Divyanjans.
