Designed to facilitate the reporting of violations of the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) during elections, the app is now available for download on both Android and iOS devices.
The cVIGIL app offers a straightforward process for users to report instances of MCC violations. Users simply need to open the app, select the type of violation they are witnessing, and provide essential details such as location, time, and any accompanying photographs or videos of the incident. Notably, the app utilizes GPS technology to track the precise location of the reported violation, enhancing the accuracy and credibility of the complaints.
One of the key features of the cVIGIL app is its emphasis on user anonymity and confidentiality. Individuals can report violations anonymously, ensuring that they can participate in the electoral process without fear of repercussions.
