The event, themed #Explore. Experience. Enjoy, is being held under the broader campaigns of the Fit India Movement and the Clean & Green Islands Campaign.

The Cycling Tour aims to encourage physical fitness, sustainable mobility, and environmental awareness by highlighting the benefits of adopting eco-friendly modes of transport.

The route will begin from the National Memorial Cellular Jail and pass through key city landmarks including Devraj Clinic, Swimming Pool, Water Sports Complex, Dignabad Fish Market, Fisheries Training Centre, Marine Dockyard, Phoenix Bay Power House, Fisheries Jetty, Megapode Chowk, Police Marine, and PS Chatham, before concluding near Netaji Stadium Main Gate.

Students, youth volunteers, and cycling enthusiasts are invited to participate in the event. A limited number of 40 bicycles will be made available by the Department of Sports & Youth Affairs. Participants may also bring their own bicycles and register for the event by contacting Mr. Nagesh Rao, PET (Mob: 7063974074) at the Department of Sports & Youth Affairs on or before November 8, 2025.

The Administration has urged all citizens—especially students and youth—to join the Cycling Tour and be part of the collective effort to promote fitness, sustainability, and a cleaner environment in the Islands.
