Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Institute of Technology (DBRAIT) marked National Science Day with a two-day celebration on February 28 and March 1, 2025. Held under the theme ‘Empower Indian Youth for Global Leadership in Science and Innovation for Viksit Bharat,’ the event showcased the institute’s dedication to fostering scientific curiosity, innovation, and leadership among its students.
The celebrations commenced with an Exhibition on Projects organised by the Entrepreneurship Club. Students from various departments presented pioneering projects, demonstrating their ability to translate theoretical knowledge into practical solutions. Using advanced technologies such as 3D printers and electronic workbenches, the students highlighted DBRAIT’s commitment to providing cutting-edge resources that prepare them for the rapidly evolving fields of science and technology.
The second day featured a Poster Making Competition, hosted by the Environmental Club, where students expressed their ideas on the role of science in building a sustainable and developed India. The event was graced by Mr. Deb Das Piak, Manager and Scientist at ISRO, who attended as the chief guest. An esteemed alumnus of DBRAIT, Mr. Das commended the students for their innovative efforts and presented certificates and prizes to the winners, further encouraging them to pursue excellence in science and technology.
The two-day celebration reinforced DBRAIT’s mission of empowering young minds with the skills and vision necessary to lead India’s scientific and technological advancements on the global stage.
